About Us
Our Story
Our story dates back to the summer of 2011. In the summer of 2011, Austin Goodfriend (owner) got his very first car (pictured on the left) and was given the parental order to "take care of it". Like clock work, this 1997 Pontiac Firebird was washed every weekend. After a while, the weekend car washes evolved into detailed cleaning. Austin began detailing cars for family members, friends, and neighbors in order to pay for gas and oil (the Firebird burned more oil than gas). As years passed, Austin continued to detail his personal vehicles and those of family members, friends, and neighbors with the help and guidance of his older brother and professional detailer, Justin. Fast forward to 2020 when Goodfriend's Auto Detailing was officially established. In early 2020, we purchased a van, chemicals, and detailing equipment and prepared to broaden our customer reach at a more professional level. In August of 2020 after only three months in business, we were set back with an unfortunate fire, destroying our van and equipment. However, God stepped in and within two months, Goodfriend's Auto Detailing was back up and running. Since the beginning of our story, we have grown exponentially so we could better serve our customers!
Our Family
Goodfriend's Auto Detailing is owned and operated by Austin and Ramsie Goodfriend. Natives of Douglasville and LaGrange, We take great pride in serving the West Georgia area. We have four beautiful children and we will never judge the condition of your vehicle, especially if you have young children (we completely understand). We are Christ followers and attend Southern Hills: The Church at City Station in Carrollton. In addition to serving in the auto detailing industry, Austin also serves as a police officer in our community. We strive to operate as a faith based business and to live by the golden rule. To all of our customers, the Goodfriend family is tremendously thankful for the trust and opportunity to serve you.

Our intricate attention-to-detail paired with our professional products and equipment allow us the ability to properly and safely care for your vehicle. Through experience and training, we maintain and cultivate knowledge of modern auto detailing techniques and technology. We strive for upmost customer satisfaction on every detail we complete.
